Who I Am
I am a meticulous and friendly word nerd with over thirteen years of experience helping writers organize, revise, and polish their messages. I have an insatiable curiosity, which means that I’m highly engaged with the material I edit and that I stay up-to-date with editorial best practices. I always pursue excellence in my work.
Who My Clients Are
I work with a broad spectrum of nonfiction writers. My clients consist of individuals who are students, academics, and subject matter experts, as well as nonprofit organizations, contractors, and expert review panels that need an editor’s eye to review their messaging. I especially love working with writers who know they have an important story to tell but need a little help fine-tuning it for their audience.
What I Do
I am happy to offer three different levels of editing: developmental editing, copyediting, and proofreading. I edit papers, journal articles, reports, and other nonfiction materials, and I have experience editing academic materials from a variety of disciplines. I also have experience providing technical editing services to engineers, transportation departments, and tunneling publications. This variety means I never get bored!
